6th Annual Spring Fling

Today’s adults in their 60’s, 70’s, 80’s or 90’s grew up in a time when they were often fired, arrested, sent to a psychiatric hospital or worse if they came out as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgender (LGBT).  As resilient as they are, LGBT seniors do not seek out the help they need because, as a result of this long struggle with discrimination, they fear judgment, rejection or compromised care if they are out.  Honoring the legacy of today’s LGBT seniors by building housing and securing the other health and social services LGBT seniors need today, is at the heart and soul of openhouse.

To support LGBT seniors and the critical work of openhouse, please join us for our 6th annual Spring Fling luncheon on Sunday, April 18, 2010.  The reception and luncheon returns to the spectacular penthouse of the Westin St. Francis Hotel and will include a silent auction, an inspiring program and special guests.
